Team Auburn Competition TrainingHot Yoga Auburn is proud to present our new competition training program, Team Auburn! Every year there is a New England Regional Yoga Asana Championship which qualifies people for national and international competition. We have begun a training program at Hot Yoga Auburn to help anyone interested to prepare for competition. The program is run by Sam Goldman and Peter Kline. For more information on competitions please visit www.neryac.org and www.usayoga.org
Sam Goldman, the owner of Hot Yoga Auburn, is a four-time participant in NERYAC and two time participant in the National Championship. He came in second place in the men's division for Massachusetts in 2005, and first place for New England in 2006.
Peter Kline is a two time NERYAC winner and current champion of the men's senior division for New England and finished fourth in the 2016 US National Championship.
Peter has come up with a wonderful training program to share with interested students at Hot Yoga Auburn. We meet most Saturdays at noon at Hot Yoga Auburn. It is highly recommended that the person attend the 8am or 10am class that day so that they are warmed up and ready to participate.
Our training program includes competition-day warming up exercises as well as guidance in developing and practicing a routine so that one is properly prepared to be at their best when participating in competition. This program will also help deepen your practice as well as your understanding of the various Asanas.
There are currently no formal fees for our program however we do ask that people make donations to Hot Yoga Auburn so that we can pay teachers to help with the training.
For questions or additional information please ask Sam or Peter Kline or email Peter at firstname.lastname@example.org.
